Happy New Year, Seneca Nation! I hope you and your family enjoyed a restful and joyful holiday season with your loved ones. As we step into 2025, I am anxious to bring a renewed sense of energy, purpose, and commitment to building our institution's excellence.
We are excited to share a new initiative designed to showcase the "Calvert Difference" to prospective families. To align with our mission to provide an exceptional experience for every student, we take strides daily to ensure that mission shines through in every aspect of our school. We are thrilled to announce in addition to our established Preschool and Kindergarten Open House; we are launching two exciting new events:
Academy and High School Seneca Showcase (Grades 6-12) : Sunday, February 23rd, from 1:30 to 3:30 PM.
Elementary Seneca Showcase (Grades 1-5) : Sunday, March 9th, from 1:30 to 3:30 PM.
Each showcase will feature exclusive highlights, including:
Student Ambassadors: Meet our incredible students who will guide families through a campus tour and share their personal experiences.
Band Performances: Enjoy musical performances that showcase the talent and dedication of our students.
Parent & Alumni Panel: Hear from current Calvert parents about their journey and why they chose our school, along with our accomplished alums.
Specialty Local Food Features: Savor delicious offerings from local vendors.
Catholic Commitment and Academic Excellence: Learn about the educational and spiritual path we cultivate towards each student’s goals.
Admissions & EdChoice Q&A: We are ready to answer all of your questions regarding the EdChoice scholarships and future steps to become a Seneca.
These showcases provide a unique opportunity for families to explore our facilities, engage with our faculty and staff, and experience what sets Calvert apart firsthand. The Preschool and Kindergarten Showcase will also be held on Tuesday, March 18th from 5:30 to 6:30 pm, welcoming young learners and their families into the Calvert culture.
We continuously strive to elevate our offerings and enhance the experience for every student, parent, and community member. These new showcase events are just another example of how we take what we already have but enhance it to its full potential. My husband, Aaron, and I moved into the Tiffin Community 10 years ago. From the start, we were welcomed at Calvert Catholic Schools with open arms. For the last 10 years, we have seen nothing but enhancements from one year to the next. We are very proud to say that our children are Calvert Senecas.
