Seneca Nation,
As we near the close of another fulfilling year, I want to take the opportunity to reflect on the milestones we have achieved together at Calvert Catholic Schools. Although there are many to list, some accomplishments that stick out are; over 3% increase in enrollment, the high school beautification project, and growth in the financial stability of our institution through foundation partnership. As a school, being part of this uplifting community is truly a privilege.
Today, I am honored to work alongside the remarkable faculty and staff who are colleagues, mentors, role models, and guides for our students. Their passion for Catholic education is the driving force behind all we do, and their presence makes this school a place of both academic excellence and spiritual growth, allowing our students a bright future ahead of them after Calvert Catholic Schools.
With the Christmas season upon us, I want to express my gratitude to the dedicated faculty and staff at Calvert. I am humbled every day by the tireless efforts of our educators, coaches, and staff. Because of their unwavering commitment, we continue to make a meaningful impact on the lives of our students.
Our teachers are indeed here because they believe in something bigger—a Catholic education. They are committed to our students' spiritual, academic, and personal growth. They see teaching as their vocation to serve God by nurturing the next generation. This is something I hold deeply, and it speaks volumes about the kind of people who make up our team.
As we approach Christmas, I ask that you join me in reflecting on the valid reason for the season—the birth of Jesus Christ. On behalf of myself and the entire school, I wish you a joyful and blessed holiday season. May it be a time of rest, renewal, and celebration with loved ones.
As a team, we will continue to give our full efforts to build an environment where students are academically challenged and spiritually enriched. Thank you, as always, for your continued support of Calvert Catholic Schools. Together, we will continue to impact the lives of the students entrusted to us.
God Bless and Go Blue,
Dr. Jeremy Marinis
Message from one of our first- year teacher, Brooklyn Gillig:
From the moment I stepped into Calvert Catholic, I felt an incredible sense of warmth and belonging. The supportive community, shared faith, and commitment to excellence truly made it feel like home away from home. I’m super grateful to be a part of a school where faith and education are connected!
